We are looking forward welcoming guests to Foleys again during summer 2021. We are operating our business during the pandemic in line with the guidelines for reopening businesses that have been issued by the HSE, the WHO, our Government, sector agencies such as the FSAI and the HSA as well as Failte Ireland. This is to ensure that Foleys is a safe & welcoming environment for you and your loved ones. We have made changes in the following areas of our guest journey to ensure you have a safe & enjoyable experience with us:
We are embracing physical distancing guidelines and hand sanitiser stations are available throughout the restaurant & guest house. Frequent cleaning & disinfecting is carried out in all public areas with particular attention paid to high touch areas such as elevator buttons, door handles, room keys and the front desk. All of our employees have received training on COVID-19 safety and disinfection protocols and we have been awarded the Failte Ireland COVID Safety Charter in recognition of the efforts we have made to reopen our business safely.
With 3 separate dining rooms, Foleys Restaurant has ample space to seat our guests in a safe and welcoming environment. Dining tables, seating and couches have been rearranged to ensure we adhere to the physical distancing guidelines allowing, for a safe and comfortable dining experience.
Our housekeeping team are following advanced cleaning protocols for the bedrooms & bathrooms with particular emphasis placed on disinfecting frequently touched surfaces such as: desks, countertops, tables and chairs, phones and remotes - thermostats - cabinets, cupboards, shelving - doors, door handles and doorplates - windows, mirrors and frame - lights and lighting controls - closets, hangers and other amenities.
While the buffet element of our breakfast service will now cease, breakfast is prepared to order and guests are allocated a time to be seated in the dining room.
